The Radiology Tech Option I PRN plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is at Union Health.
The Imaging Services team consists of Xray, CT, MRI, General Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology. As a member of the Union Health Imaging team, you will play an integral role by assuring that services are provided within professional standards and organizational policies to assist patients who lean on the Imaging Services team for answers.

Tech – Option I PRN Details

Essential Job Duties:

  • Completes all procedures scheduled during the shift.
  • Performs work accurately and timely to prevent backlogs.
  • Uses the schedule efficiently to increase patient flow.
  • Responds to changes in the work schedule as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates competency in collimation and patient positioning.
  • Properly adjusts equipment for each exam.
  • Uses optimum film/image processing techniques at all times.
  • Injects contrast media when required, has certification of training, completes venipuncture education, recognizes reactions, and knows emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an A.M.A.-approved formal Radiology technical training program.

License/Certification:

  • Maintains licensure with ISDOH and ARRT.
  • Registered with American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or ARRT eligible.
  • Holds CPR Certification
