The Pharmacy Department at Union Health is looking for team members for the Terre Haute campus. We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, fully committed to providing the highest quality health care experience and dedicated to supporting their team who work in a fast-paced environment. The Pharmacy team plays an integral role by managing the use of medications in hospital with goals include selection, prescription, procuration, delivery, administration, and review of medications to optimize patient outcomes and assures that services are provided within professional standards and organizational policies to assist patients who lean on the Pharmacy team for answers.

Medication Reconciliation Tech Essential Job Duties:

  1. Interviews patients and caregivers to review prescribed medications.
  2. Documents medications for Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  3. Accurately maintains required documentation.
  4. Maintains a clean and organized environment.

Education, Training & Experience:

  1. Certified Technician by the Indiana Board of Pharmacy.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Understanding of general math concepts and ability to work accurately with figures.
  4. General knowledge of the metric system, Latin abbreviations, and medical terminology (on the job training).
  5. Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
