Our new CEO will plan, direct, and control all credit union activities in accordance with credit union plans, policies, Governance Policies, directives, and activities as established by the board of directors. Be responsible for ensuring financial stability and member satisfaction in the best interests of members, employees, and the credit union. Provide strategic direction, vision, leadership, and management in all functional areas.

Performance Measurements

Performance Measurements are based on the following:

  1. Strategic Planning: Creating, implementing, and updating long-term plans to grow the credit union and meet member needs.
  2. Operations Management: Directing daily work across departments like lending, finance, marketing, human resources, and risk management.
  3. Board Relations: Partnering with the Board of Directors by sharing reports, giving advice, and executing approved policies.

This is accomplished through visibility across all branch offices, connections with the credit union and community members, and active involvement in community organizations and activities.
Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least ten years of similar or related experience. Seasoned professional with skills in selection, recruiting, and managing a culture attractive to highly effective employees. Advanced understanding of corporate income statements and balance sheets.
  • Education: Preferred is a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or management. General knowledge of the principles and practices of financial administration. Knowledge of sound techniques in all aspects of financial management.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to patiently communicate and motivate at all levels of the organization. Ability to stay calm in stressful situations. Writes and speaks effectively, uses conventions proper to the situation; demonstrates openness and honesty; listens well during meetings and feedback sessions; explains reasoning behind own opinions; asks others for their opinions and feedback; asks questions to ensure understanding; exercises a professional approach with others using all appropriate tools of communication; uses consideration and tact when offering opinions. Keeps confidential information confidential.
