Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication enable smooth collaboration with editors, directors, and production teams. Union Assistant Editors play a crucial role in facilitating smooth communication and workflow between editors, directors, and other post-production staff. They are often responsible for organizing and syncing footage, managing project files, and ensuring that editors have all necessary materials ready for each stage of editing.
