What is a non typing?

A Non Typing job is a role that does not require extensive keyboard use or data entry. These jobs focus on tasks such as customer service, physical labor, sales, or hands-on technical work. They are ideal for individuals who prefer active or verbal tasks over prolonged computer use. Examples include warehouse workers, drivers, retail associates, and field technicians.

What types of tasks are typically assigned to a non typing role, and how do they contribute to team operations?

A Non Typing role generally involves administrative or clerical tasks that do not require extensive computer keyboard use. Typical responsibilities may include filing documents, managing physical records, handling mail distribution, operating office equipment, and assisting with data organization through non-digital means. These roles are essential for ensuring that office operations run smoothly, supporting other team members by maintaining order and accessibility of important documents, and often acting as a bridge between departments. Collaboration with administrative staff, supervisors, and sometimes customers or vendors is common, offering valuable experience in office procedures and teamwork.
