Union County Educational Services Commission is a public school district that was established to provide innovative and cost-effective educational programs for students with special needs, parents and staff members of our 21 member districts.ย The Commission is currently seeking a High School Special Education Mathematics Teacher to fill a full-time vacancy at Lamberts Mill Academy.ย  Lamberts Mill Academy is a specialized high school designed for students with special needs who require a comprehensive therapeutic approach while receiving a rigorous course of study. Students are able to experience a traditional high school environment in a non-traditional program.ย  Our program blends academic rigor with comprehensive clinical and psychiatric services, social and daily living skills, transition services, as well as a wide range of enrichment programs to meet students at their levels.
Description:
* 8:20 - 2:40 p.m., Monday - Friday
*ย Full-Time, 10-Month Position
* Comprehensive Medical Benefitsย

*ย Professional Development Opportunitiesย 
* Salary: $ 62,345 - $ 93,280 (based on experience)
Requirements:
* Valid NJDOE Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate or Teacher of Students with Disabilities AND High School Mathematics Certificationย 
*ย Prior experience teaching secondary education in public or private schools strongly preferred
* Prior experience workingย with adolescents with emotional and/or behavioral disabilities strongly preferredย 
* Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, time-management, and communication skills
ย
