Job description

Unify is building the first AI-native outbound platform where agents and sellers work side by side. We help revenue teams identify buyers already in market, enrich accounts with data from 40+ sources, and execute personalized, multi-channel outreach - all from a single AI-powered workspace.
Trusted by some of the most innovative go-to-market teams, Unify enables reps to spend less time on manual work and more time building relationships, delivering up to 90% time savings on list building and 19% higher output per rep.
We're building a team of curious, ambitious people who care deeply about craftsmanship, move with urgency, and thrive in fast-paced environments. If you're excited about shaping the future of AI and building products that redefine how modern revenue teams work, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

As an early Engineering Manager at Unify GTM, you'll be stepping into a rare opportunity: shaping the DNA of an early-stage, high-velocity engineering org that's building with the leading edge of AI.

You'll lead one of our core product pods, owning delivery, quality, and team health and partner closely with product and design to bring bold ideas to life. You'll also help set the foundation for how we scale: our culture, our systems, and our standards of technical and operational excellence.

This is a high-impact, high-trust role at a moment of rapid growth, perfect for someone who wants to build, lead, and grow alongside an ambitious team.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead a core product team: Manage, coach, and grow a group of high-performing engineers while keeping your finger on the pulse of technical work.
  • Own delivery: Collaborate with product and design leads to scope and ship product initiatives that are customer-centered, fast, and reliable.
  • Level up our systems: Continuously improve engineering processes from planning to observability to CI/CD to support rapid iteration and scale.
  • Lead by example: Participate in code reviews, design conversations, and incident response to stay close to the craft.
  • Build the team: Recruit, hire, and onboard top engineering talent as we grow the org 3x+ in the next 12 months.
  • Shape culture: Foster a team environment grounded in ownership, speed, and empathy for each other and for our users.
Who You Are:
  • You bring 6+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years of engineering management in fast-moving environments.
  • You've built and led teams at early-stage startups, shipping high-quality software under tight feedback loops.
  • You're a strong technical leader who knows how to set a high bar and inspire others to reach it.
  • You're at home in high-autonomy, high-accountability environments and energized by building from scratch.
  • You've worn multiple hats and love the chaos of early stage: recruiting, writing code, running retros, debugging prod, or tweaking the roadmap.
  • You care deeply about people and invest in helping others grow both technically and as teammates.
  • You move fast, stay scrappy, and always prioritize impact.
Our Stack

We use a modern, high-performance stack:

TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Pulsar, ClickHouse, Temporal, and LLMs.

Familiarity is great, but what matters most is your ability to learn fast, lead with curiosity, and raise the bar.
