This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our state-of-the-art surgical center in Irving, Texas. You will be part of a supportive team that prioritizes evidence-based and patient-centered quality care. Regular work hours are structured around a 5-day work week, totaling 40 hours, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Importantly, you will not have call responsibilities, making this position one focused entirely on daytime clinical practice.

• Manage a diverse patient panel, delivering comprehensive care and ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of treatment.
• Provide medical support alongside a full Medical Doctor, participating actively in patient consultations and procedures.
• Conduct a variety of clinic-based procedures, including but not limited to IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, women's wellness exams, and colposcopies (if trained).
• Stay engaged in continuous improvement and training programs, with available leadership training opportunities in collaboration with the Advanced Practice Clinician council.
• Utilize the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to manage patient data efficiently and ensure documentation is both accurate and timely.

As a Physician Assistant at Unify Healthcare, you will primarily focus on women's health within the realm of obstetrics and gynecology. Your patient base will include diverse individuals seeking preventive care, family planning, and surgical interventions. You will be a trusted provider, building long-term relationships with your patients to better understand their health needs and advocate for their wellbeing.

• Certified Physician Assistant with active state licensure in Texas.
• Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is required, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in obstetric and gynecological care, with a proven ability to engage with patients effectively.
• Proficiency with the EPIC EMR system is preferred.

• At least one year of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Strong communication skills complemented by exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Active listening skills that foster patient rapport and create a supportive environment.
