Medical Doctors Only Apply. A Internal Medicine Physician General Internist practice is seeking a qualified physician for Waco, TX. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. OLYMPUS HEALTH MANAGEMENT, LLC WHAT: Olympus Health coordinates and performs disability determination physicals for various local and governmental agencies such as Medicare and the Social Security Administration of Texas and multiple states around the country. WHEN: We provide this service to applicants in your area 1 day a month. We usually conduct these exams on Saturday. Typically there are between 14 and 16 patients in need of exams each clinic day. HELPFUL INFORMATION & DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: - You will provide disability exams and evaluation that test primarily function and range of motion. The evaluation you will perform will be solely in connection with the determination of the patient’s entitlement to Social Security disability or Medicaid benefits. You will not be establishing a Doctor-patient relationship nor be providing any diagnosis, advice or treatment to the candidates. You will be provided a clear template of specific tests to perform and document your assessment of such tests. (i.e. Range of motion, Heel toe walk, etc.) Your documented assessments are then forwarded to the Disability Determination Services Division of Texas where they will ultimately determine the candidate’s entitlement to benefits. - Exams are scheduled every 30 minutes and each exam takes roughly 15-20 minutes to perform. We will pay $60 per exam to conduct these exams, which equates to about $800-$1000 for the day. Payment is issued directly following the completion of exam and reports so you don’t have to worry about billing. - If you have additional questions or concerns please contact me at the info listed below.
