Salvage and Delta brands. Delta Galil also designs, develops, markets and sells branded denim and apparel under the brand 7 For All Mankindยฎ, and ladies' and kids' apparel under the brand Splendidยฎ. In addition, it sells its products under brand names licensed to the company, including adidas, Wolford, Wilson, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger and others.
Position Overview
The Senior Designer, Intimates will be responsible for overseeing the product conception and creative design for our brands within the Intimates Division. This includes innovative, on-time, and on-budget designs with a focus on maintaining a strong brand image. The person will develop a creative vision for new product lines along with the manager, and product modifications that represent the brands. The person will also need to work cross-functionally in a collaborative fashion with key stakeholders including production, product management, packaging, sales, and other relevant teams within the supply chain to effectively move products from concept to delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Develop the product design strategy; design and development execution for the branded intimates division and private label
  • Clearly communicate product vision to design and development teams
  • Evaluate internal and external resources to evaluate the best and most cost-effective approach to design creation and product development
  • Collaborate with CAD designers and technical designers, vendors, and factories to ensure new products are developed on time, correctly, both aesthetically and structurally
  • Maintain a firm command of marketplace trends (including consumer, fashion, and product)
  • Prepare fashion trend boards and color stories as required
  • Develop branded and private label line plans to capture business-building opportunities
  • Work jointly with Business Managers, Factories, and the Sourcing department in the development of appropriate and cost-effective sourcing strategies
  • Manage the product costing process through the timely submission of prototype packages to factories and vendors.
  • Revise materials and product designs to accomplish profit margin objectives relative to anticipated wholesale and retail prices
  • Build working relationships with materials/component vendors and manufacturers to accomplish product sourcing needs
  • Actively participate in regular meetings with Sales and customers to present product trends, strategies, and seasonal lines to build our mutual businesses
  • Apply sound professional and fiscal management in the oversight of the department, including budget line items, especially in the areas of outsourced design resources, sample materials, freight costs, T&E, and sampling

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Intimate apparel; focusing on bras
  • Experience with Gerber PLM or similar programs
  • Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Self-motivated with strong teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving abilities in deadline-driven environments
  • Highly organized and adaptable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This a hybrid role, with 5 days in our Secaucus, NJ office.
PAY RATE: $110,000/yr-$130,000/yr
