Your Role as a CT Radiographer

As a CT Radiographer at UMMS, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging, ensuring precision, patient safety, and fast, accurate results. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating high-resolution Tomography / CT Imaging equipment to produce high quality diagnostic images
  • Demonstrates clinical competence in Musculoskeletal, Neuro and Body
  • Demonstrated ability to fix studies in the private area in collaboration with EPIC
  • Ensuring patient safety, comfort & proper positioning procedures
  • Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnostic results
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to compliance standards

Qualifications
  • Maryland Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility)
  • ARRT (CT) Certification required
  • BLS Certification
  • Previous hospital or outpatient imaging experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient care & teamwork
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy preferred
