Job description

  • Experience working with intermediate string manipulation capabilities using Regex, and XML/JSON schemas for custom API interactions.
  • Experience working with SharePoint and different types of data stores (RDBMS, Flat Files, Columnar DBs, blob storage containers, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) concepts.
  • Proficiency in communicating with business users, understanding business processes and functional areas, and quickly implementing workflow automation solutions collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of idea-to-execution ownership of business user facing deliverables.
  • Ability to assess existing solutions and applications to identify gaps and opportunities, recommend action items, drive technical excellence and mentor junior team members.
  • Ability to understand users' goals and context of use in designing LCNC apps and automation solutions, providing user-centered design guidance and mentorship to other automation engineers.

Responsibilities:

Platform Architecture, Governance & Lifecycle Management

  • Coordinate and collaborate with Platform Architects and Administration teams to follow, establish, and actively promote organizational best practices across Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Platform Lifecycle Management (PLM), governance, security, performance, and scalability.
  • Drive the adoption of standard logging, proactive monitoring, and alerting frameworks to ensure absolute system visibility.

Robust End-to-End Automation Delivery

  • Design and implement robust, enterprise-grade workflow automation solutions utilizing industry-standard Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) platforms in strict accordance with company policies and cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Lead continuous agile development alongside Product Owner(s) by owning the end-to-end lifecycle-planning, prioritizing, designing, testing, and managing the rollout of high-impact solutions.
  • Apply user-centric product principles to develop apps and workflows that boast consistent, intuitive, and highly accessible user interfaces.
  • Assist with day-to-day production support, remaining accountable for addressing and swiftly resolving critical live environment issues.
  • Proactively tackle and resolve complex architectural bottlenecks related to platform performance, reliability, and security vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering or automation delivery experience, with at least 3 years directly focused on designing, deploying, and maintaining institutional scale RPA infrastructure with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Desktop, Power Automate Cloud, Dataverse) and UiPath.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with enterprise grade programming languages such as Java Script, REACT, Python, Java or C#.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience and strong foundational knowledge working with SQL and RDBMS systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, etc.
  • Familiarity with the latest AI models and Vibe Coding.
  • Experience working with other Automation technologies and Low-code platforms in addition to the ones listed above.
