HCISDPRIMARY PURPOSE:
The middle school head coach/athletic coordinator shall be responsible for developing a comprehensive athletic program under the leadership of the principal, the Administrative Assistant for UIL Student Activities, and the Athletic Coordinator of the high school with which their school is coordinated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree
Valid Texas teaching certification (PE EC -12)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules
Experience:
Three years experience as coach at the high school, middle school or elementary level.
CALENDAR: 187 Days + additional days for Coaching (if applicable)
SALARY: Teacher Salary Schedule + applicable coaching stipends
