Description
Supporting the different areas of the CGE, perform daily office routines. Maintain student data in the form of reports and spreadsheets. Lead, coordinate and participate in projects for the ELI including promotional material cycles, orientations, student activities, and these groups: ELI Conversation Partners Program, English Café, ELI Passport Program, Global Ambassadors. Provide assistance to faculty and staff.
Examples of Duties
Duties Include:
  • Provide support during orientations before the semester starts
  • Leading student activities and programs, including driving students to events
  • Perform daily office routines
  • Provide campus tours and classroom or group presentations
  • Maintain student data reports and spreadsheets
  • Assist faculty and staff with projects and tasks

Typical Qualifications
Education:
  • Current UCM student
Experience/Abilities:
  • General knowledge of Word, Excel, PPT, Google Docs, Zoom, Canva
  • Preference given to students who are familiar with the needs of international students and/or have an interest in Study Abroad.
  • Valid Driver's License strongly preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in working with international students, staff, and faculty
  • Ability to self-start, problem-solve, and critically analyze
  • Ability to work with others campus offices professionally and effectively and identify student needs
  • Must be willing to work outside of regular office hours (evenings, weekends, pre-start of school)
