Job description

Maintenance Class A (2nd Shift)
Sheboygan, WI 53082

  • Hourly Rate: $29.91 – governed by the UAW Contract
  • Shift: 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) Monday – Friday Potential for overtime


We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Journeyman/Class A. Here, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include performing regular services and maintenance procedures, as well as troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Perform a wide variety of preventive maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: lubrication, inspection, adjustment, cleaning, rebuilding, fabrication, calibration, and repair of production equipment. In addition, this person will be required to perform troubleshooting of production equipment. A general mechanical background is needed


This position will be on 2nd shift, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, grab, and twist
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical problems, which may include electrical or hydraulic components
  • Strong research ability: must be able to use computers, equipment manuals to diagnose and order components
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a willingness to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks
  • Must be self-motivated and show initiative


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Technical certification is required/OR a minimum of 7 years of PAID maintenance experience is required
  • Excellent attendance record
