Role Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst will lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for Regulatory Change Management (RCM) connectivity initiatives across integrated systems. This role is responsible for authoring and managing UAT test scripts, coordinating testing execution, and partnering closely with Business, Technology, and RCM Operations teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise in banking, risk and compliance systems, and complex system integrations.
This role is also responsible for managing Compliance data and assisting Compliance teams with data management initiatives. Primary responsibilities include cleansing, analyzing, reconciling, and uplifting Compliance data to improve consistency and reduce inaccuracies. The individual will understand specific business context and objectives to tailor data analysis accordingly, lead data remediation efforts, and support the preparation of reports to evaluate the health and governance of Compliance initiatives.
 
Key Responsibilities:
UAT Planning & Test Design:
* Design and author detailed UAT test cases and test scripts based on approved Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
* Ensure end-to-end traceability by mapping business requirements to functional and UAT test scenarios.
* Design test coverage across system integration, functional, and regression testing for RCM connectivity use cases.
* Prepare training materials including User Guides and FAQs, and conduct targeted sessions with stakeholders.
 
UAT Execution & Management:
* Manage and track UAT execution progress, ensuring testing milestones are met and timely delivery is achieved.
* Maintain UAT test artifacts, execution logs, and sign-offs.
* Prepare and deliver daily and weekly UAT status updates to senior management, including progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
* Escalate risks and delivery concerns proactively with clear recommendations and action plans.
* Support final UAT sign-off activities and Go-Live readiness assessments.
 
Defect Management & Stakeholder Coordination:
* Coordinate closely with IT, business stakeholders, and RCM Operations teams to triage, review, prioritize, and resolve UAT defects.
* Validate fixes, oversee retesting, and confirm defect closure prior to UAT sign-off.
* Act as a key liaison between business users and technology teams to resolve testing issues efficiently.
 
Data Management:
* Understand large and complex financial institutions and their functions, including Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, and Operations.
* Assist Compliance Operations with gathering, structuring, and analyzing relevant data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and maintaining connectivity across Compliance pillars.
* Leverage data analysis techniques to analyze large volumes of data and identify issues as part of testing activities.
 
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum 7 years of experience leading UAT activities within the banking industry, with proven expertise in authoring UAT test scripts, deriving test cases from BRDs/FRDs, and managing end-to-end UAT execution, particularly for Regulatory Change Management, Risk and Compliance platforms, and system integrations.
* Proven experience supporting system integrations and connectivity testing across multiple platforms.
* Strong knowledge of System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, and Regression Testing processes.
* Experience with Databricks or similar middleware/integration platforms supporting data and system connectivity.
* Demonstrated expertise in requirements mapping, traceability, and impact analysis across business and functional layers.
* Previous experience testing AI-driven automation, validating AI-generated outputs, assessing accuracy, and identifying model limitations and failure points.
 
Skills & Competencies:
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills preferred for test management and reporting.
* Working knowledge of JIRA and other testing platforms for defect tracking and backlog management.
* Prior Power BI reporting experience preferred.
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including senior management-level reporting.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
* Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and adaptability to evolving regulatory and technology landscapes.
