Job Title: Registered Nurse

Labor and Delivery nursing position.
Includes Operating Room, antepartum care, and floating to postpartum.
Patient age groups range from neonates to adults.
Daily census includes approximately 150 deliveries.
Patient ratios are 1:1-2 for Labor and Delivery and 1:2-3 for antepartum during nights.
Triage and recognition of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns are essential skills.
Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections and performing phlebotomy.
High-risk pregnancies and patients with multiple co-morbidities are common.
Lactation support is provided seven days a week.
A Baby Friendly initiative is in place.
Nurses may be required to cover breaks and assist in catching babies.
Flexibility and a team-oriented mindset are crucial for this role.
