The Turnaround Coordinator is responsible for the preparation, scoping, analysis of work orders and project scope, BID process support, scheduling, and coordination of turnaround activities to ensure plant safety, reliability, and availability. This role oversees the timely execution of maintenance turnarounds and supports compliance, driving operational excellence and sustained plant performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and Review Turnaround Scopes: Collaborate with the plant engineer and maintenance team to establish and refine turnaround scopes, identify the critical pathway, and ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Review Job Packages: Evaluate job packages developed by planners to confirm comprehensive planning, verify material requirements, and ensure all required permits are identified and listed for each task.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Work closely with the production and safety team to identify potential risks associated with tasks, ensure proper permits are in place, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Preparation and Scheduling Support: Assist in the preparation of turnaround activities and review schedules for maintenance and project tasks to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Lead Turnaround Update Meetings: Facilitate regular update meetings during both the preparation and execution phases to ensure clear communication, address challenges, and align stakeholders on progress and priorities.
  • Support Operations: Collaborate with operations before the execution phase to ensure that all permits, documentation, and processes are properly prepared, reviewed, and compliant, addressing any potential issues proactively.
  • Coordinate Shutdown Activities: Manage planned preventive/predictive maintenance tasks, inspections, repair work, and project activities by coordinating with Production, the Maintenance Team, and other technical resources.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years in maintenance, planning, or combination of an operations role with maintenance influence.
  • An associate's degree in a technical field is preferred. Candidates with an Engineering degree and 2+ years in a maintenance role will be greatly considered.
  • SAP experience required.
  • Experience with root cause analysis (RCA), Microsoft Project, and Intools preferred.
  • Able to work independently with a high level of initiative and self-starting skills.
  • Capable to establishing priorities and adjusting priorities as dictated by site and business needs.

Summary Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.(Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).

Pay Range:$83,900-$139,800
