We are expanding our Sales Sourcing team and are looking for a Trading Manager - Industrial Equipment to cover the Turkish market. Candidates based in Netherlands or Germany are welcome to apply.

The Opportunity

The Sales Sourcing Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with new and existing strategic suppliers. You will play a key role in driving supplier performance and supporting the sourcing team’s vision by delivering insights, services, and transactional solutions for commercial assets.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to increase Gross Transaction Value (GTV), drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance the adoption of Ritchie Bros. products and services, while consistently delivering outstanding customer engagement.

You will be accountable for:

  • Leading the sourcing of new and existing strategic customers by evaluating equipment for consignment, negotiating terms, and executing contracts while building long‑term partnerships
  • Managing day‑to‑day relationships with strategic customers, including owning the interaction agenda and ensuring accurate tracking of all communications for full transparency
  • Preparing and leading supplier negotiations, including assessing transaction feasibility, revenue potential, and alignment with Ritchie Bros. commercial strategy
  • Monitoring and formalizing long‑term customer performance by identifying gaps, driving improvement initiatives, and implementing mitigation actions to optimize cost and revenue outcomes
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Here is what you bring

To succeed in this role, you combine strong commercial instincts with the ability to quickly assess asset value, market demand, and pricing in fast‑moving environments. You build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners, and feel comfortable working in a target‑driven setting with shifting priorities. You can independently structure deals, identify commercial opportunities, and solve problems as they arise, while confidently communicating and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels.

  • 5+ years of experience in trading, brokerage, equipment trading, or a similar deal‑driven commercial environment, with a strong track record of closing transactions and delivering revenue
  • Strong understanding of asset valuation, market demand, pricing dynamics, and supply/demand drivers
  • Proven experience in negotiating and executing high‑value or complex deals
  • Professional level of English and Turkish, German is also preferred
