Trust Administrator Remote information

What are some common challenges faced by Trust Administrators working remotely, and how can they be addressed?

Trust Administrators working remotely often encounter challenges such as maintaining secure communication, coordinating effectively with legal and financial teams, and managing sensitive client documents across digital platforms. To address these, it's important to use secure file-sharing and communication tools, set clear expectations for virtual collaboration, and stay organized with robust digital record-keeping systems. Regular check-ins with team members and ongoing professional development in trust management software can also help ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulatory standards.

What is a Trust Administrator, and what do they do when working remotely?

A Trust Administrator is a financial professional responsible for managing trust accounts and ensuring that the terms of the trust are carried out according to legal and fiduciary standards. When working remotely, a Trust Administrator typically handles tasks such as managing documentation, communicating with beneficiaries, coordinating with attorneys and financial advisors, and monitoring account activities through secure online platforms. They ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate records, all while upholding the confidentiality and integrity of each trust. Remote Trust Administrators use digital tools to securely access client information and collaborate with team members from various locations.

This role is ideal for someone who is analytically curious, highly organized, and excited to support a fast-growing, mission-driven organization.
About the Role
Reporting to our Director, Commercial Insights & Product Strategy, this role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, actionable reporting, and seamless coordination of commercial initiatives. You'll serve as a trusted analytics and operations partner-helping turn data into decisions and strategy into execution. The salary range for this role will be $55,000 to $60,000.
What You'll Do

  • Own the collection, validation, and maintenance of commercial and product data across internal and external systems
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Deliver timely, actionable insights in response to ad hoc analytical requests from cross-functional teams
  • Document data sources, definitions, and methodologies to support consistency and scalability
  • Support analytical modeling, forecasting, and business performance analysis
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data governance, and streamline processes
Product Data & Systems Management
  • Serve as a key owner of product data across commercial systems and external platforms, including NetSuite, GS1, 1WorldSync, and other data syndication tools
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of product specifications, shelf life, marketing copy, claims, and trademarks across all channels
Commercial Operations & Marketing Support
  • Provide operational and administrative support to Commercial and Marketing teams
  • Coordinate marketing projects and timelines across internal teams and external vendors
  • Lead logistics and execution for trade shows and industry events (including IFPA and regional customer events)
  • Act as a primary point of contact for external partners such as agencies, printers, and service providers
  • Support marketing budget tracking, invoice processing, and purchase order coordination
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, commercial operations, marketing operations, or a related role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP systems, syndicated product data platforms, or CPG data environments
  • Background supporting Sales and Marketing teams in food, agriculture, or CPG industries
  • Experience coordinating trade shows, industry events, or external agencies
  • Experience in CPG, merchandising, or retail analytics
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Predominantly sedentary, computer-based work
  • Occasional standing, walking, and lifting (up to ~25 lbs), particularly for event preparation
  • Occasional travel for trade shows, industry events, or meetings
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
