Seeking a Network Engineer in the Ft. Wayne, Indiana area.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network & Cybersecurity Engineer with a strong focus on Cisco technologies to design, implement, and support secure networking solutions across on-premises data centers and cloud environments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise networking infrastructure while partnering closely with cross-functional IT teams and cybersecurity leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise networking solutions across on-premises and cloud environments

Design and implement cybersecurity technologies that integrate with and protect network infrastructure

Partner with IT teams to provide architectural guidance and consulting for new and existing solutions

Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting for:

System utilization

Performance issues and outages

Cybersecurity threat detection and escalation

Key performance indicators (KPIs)

Ensure thorough and up-to-date documentation for all systems, configurations, and processes

Continuously evaluate business needs and recommend secure, scalable networking solutions aligned with industry best practices

Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity teams to support and execute enterprise security strategies

Partner with cross-functional teams including:

Enterprise Architecture

DevOps

Infrastructure

Cloud Center of Excellence

Data Management & Data Science

Participate in a rotating after-hours/on-call support schedule for critical network operations

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
