Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Uphold the high standards of 24 Carrots' handbook and policies. 2. Represent and uphold the 24 Carrots core values: Trustworthiness, Collaboration, Service Excellence and Dedication. 3. Stay on task and work effectively. 4. Take mandatory 30-minute lunch break when working anything over 6 hours or notify supervisor. 5. Inspect and maintain vehicles, adding fuel as needed. 6. Operates the trolley along the assigned route for each shift. 7. Moving all passengers to the drop location in a safe, timely and courteous manner. 8. Exhibits a positive, professional, and collaborative attitude with all passengers. 9. Explains all routes to the passengers if needed. 10. Observes all speed limits and traffic laws.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Calm demeanor with the ability to remain so, in stressful circumstances. 7. Must be able to pass the Federal DOT physical examination. 8. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively handle complaints and problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 1. Reliable transportation and a clean driving record required. 2. CDL Class B license with passengers' endorsement 3. Federal DOT physical examination LANGUAGE SKILLS 1. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 2. Ability to write simple correspondence. 3. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization 4. Ability to speak and understand English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 1. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

REASONING ABILITY 1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. 2. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Ability to sit for a minimum of 6 hours a day. 2. Occasionally standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, pulling, and pushing. 3. Motor coordination, finger and manual dexterity are required. 4.
