Our mission is to simplify and streamline the event planning process, allowing our clients to focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative, innovative work environment that encourages growth and development.

Business Development Representatives at Tripleseat are on the front lines of growth — finding the right prospects, sparking meaningful conversations, and connecting hospitality businesses to technology that transforms how they work. In this role, you'll own the top of the sales funnel, driving outbound activity and qualifying leads that fuel our pipeline. This position follows a hybrid work schedule based out of our Boston, MA office. This role is open to candidates eligible to work in the United States. Additional travel may be required for meetings, company events, and training.

What You'll Own:

• Proactively identify and generate new business leads through research, networking, and cold outbound prospecting across phone, email, and social media channels

• Conduct high-volume outreach to engage potential clients, qualify leads, and move them efficiently through the early stages of the sales process

• Build and maintain a deep, current understanding of Tripleseat's product offerings, value propositions, and target market so you can speak confidently with any prospect

• Partner with the Marketing and Sales teams to develop and execute outreach strategies and campaigns that drive qualified pipeline

• Schedule and coordinate meetings and product demos for the sales team with qualified leads

• Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all sales activities and lead interactions in the CRM system

• Share regular feedback with Sales and Marketing on lead quality and campaign effectiveness, helping the team continuously improve

• Stay sharp on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices to strengthen your outreach and lead generation approach

• Other related duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably within the SaaS industry is a plus

• Experience in event management, restaurant operations, or Tripleseat is a plus

• Interest in starting a career in sales or business development

• Comfortable making outbound cold calls and engaging prospects through phone, email, and other outreach channels

• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus; willingness to learn how to track activities, manage leads, and maintain clean and accurate data

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently connect with a variety of prospects

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic and desire to achieve results

• Curious, coachable, and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new skills and continuously improve your approach

• Positive attitude and resilience when facing rejection, with the ability to stay motivated in a high volume cold call environment

• Competitive mindset, with a drive to achieve goals, exceed performance metrics, and continuously improve through healthy competition and person accountability

• Executive presense, with the confidence and professionalism to engage business owners, general managers, directors of sales, and other decision makers in meaningful conversations

Salary: $62,000 annually. Compensation is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, skill set, and geographic location, in alignment with our internal compensation framework. This role is also eligible for additional benefits and incentives.
