What You'll DoAs a Commercial Electrician, you'll install and maintain electrical systems on commercial construction projects throughout the Houston area.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing conduit, wire, panels, devices, and electrical equipment
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
- Performing wall rough-in, deck rough-in, conduit rough-in, and fixture installation
- Bending and installing EMT and other raceway systems
- Pulling wire and terminating electrical equipment
- Troubleshooting and resolving installation issues
- Maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards
- Working closely with foremen, crew leaders, and project teams to deliver successful projects
Projects include:
- Hospitals and medical facilities
- Universities
- Commercial High-Rise
- Retail centers
- Parking garages and warehouse
- Commercial and industrial facilities
What We're Looking For- Commercial electrical construction experience
- Ability to install conduit, wire, and electrical systems with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience with commercial rough-in and finish work
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices
- Reliable transportation to Houston-area jobsites
- Personal electrical tools
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
CompensationAll candidates complete a hands-on skills assessment to determine placement and compensation level. If hired, you will be paid for the time spent completing the assessment.Compensation is based on demonstrated skill level and experience in completing the assessment.
