Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) Full-Time Opportunity

Anchor Hospital is a 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission that specializes in the treatment of behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Located in College Park, the hospital serves mental health and substance abuse patients from all over the Southeast through its inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient, and Tricare program for active duty and veterans. The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. RNs ensure that nursing resources are adequate to provide optimal patient care to a variety of patients which could include dual diagnosis, chemical dependency, and/or psychiatric care. Collaborates with clinical services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Anchor Hospital.

Duties may include:

  • Processing patient admissions
  • Treatment plan development
  • Patient assessments
  • Medication administration
  • Medication education

This position's hours include shift differentials (7am-7pm weekend shifts only).

Qualifications:

Current license to practice nursing in GA (or eligible to receive or renew). Current CPR or BLS certification. Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting. COVID vaccination required.
