What is a Tricare RN?
A Tricare RN is a registered nurse who works within the TRICARE healthcare system, which provides medical benefits to military members, veterans, and their families. They may work in hospitals, clinics, or remotely, helping beneficiaries navigate their healthcare options. Their role is essential in improving access to quality care and supporting military communities.
What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Tricare RN?
To thrive as a Tricare RN, you need a current RN license, strong clinical assessment skills, and in-depth knowledge of Tricare policies and military healthcare systems. Familiarity with case management software, EHRs, and insurance authorization platforms is commonly required. Job description
There are more than 350 days of sunshine in Tucson, and people here love to soak it up. Golfing? Got that! On warm summer days, hiking trails lead to refreshing, lush watering holes to cool down in, and adventurers flock to the Sky Island of Mount Lemmon, where temperatures are cooler and pine trees offer an escape from the Sonoran Desert. Closer to the city, Tumamoc offers miles of views. Surrounding it all is The Loop, a paved multipurpose trail that's more than 130 miles in length for bikers, horseback riders and power walkers. Saguaro National Park straddles the east and west sides of the city, with more than 91,000 acres to explore. Take a dive into history and be inspired with the remnants of the 1775 Presidio San Agustin del Tucson, from where the City of Tucson was established when you visit the San Xavier del Client Mission, or wander the colorful adobes in Barrio Viejo, one of Tucson's first neighborhoods. There's a little bit of everything for everyone in Tucson, Arizona; whether you enjoy living the secluded private life or consider yourself a social butterfly, you'll find something here for you.
