Job description

Tri-County Special Education Association is looking for a School Social Worker to join our team to serve LeRoy School District #2 (3 days per week) and Hartsburg Emden CUSD #21 (2 days per week).  School Social Workers provide a comprehensive set of School Social Work services including evaluations, recommendations, or interventions regarding the placement of children in educational programs or special education classes on behalf of students and families in Tri-County schools. The primary responsibilities of School Social Workers require assessment, intervention, understanding and identification of resources for addressing the school-related social-emotional and behavioral needs of students and families. School Social Workers work directly with students and families, but also work on behalf of students by providing collaborative problem solving and consultation services.  All first year employees benefit from a year of mentorship.  Four paid professional development days of the employee's choice.
