Job description

Opportunity InformationNon-Invasive Cardiologist, Santa Rosa

Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods (SMGR) has an immediate opening for a full-time general non-invasive Cardiologist to join the current 8 provider practice (4 non-invasive, 2 interventional, and 2 Advanced Practitioners) with excellent growth potential.

Location: Santa Rosa, California - Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital

Opportunity details:Clinical:
  • Call: 1 night/week, 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks
  • Spacious new offices immediately adjacent to hospital, with outreach clinic in Petaluma
  • Built in referral network from strong PCPs within group and patients with Sutter
    insurance plans
  • Practice includes one week every six weeks of inpatient consultative only service with hospital NPs
  • Office ancillaries include: Three Echo machines, with two full-time techs and recruiting for a third, Nuclear stress testing supervised by an exercise physiologist, device clinic, centralized Coumadin clinic staffed by NPs
  • Integrated EMR (EPIC) in office and hospital
  • Strong office support staff
Hospital:
  • Regional STEMI Program, Coronary Interventions, Pacemaker/ICD implants, Cardiac CTA with CT-FFR, cardiac MRI, ECMO capable
  • Strong hospitalist and intensivist support
  • 124-bed hospital
Qualifications:
  • Board certified in Cardiology
  • TEE, Nuclear interpretation required
  • CT interests and Pacemaker implantation are a plus, but not required
