Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care telemetry experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details
  • Work in a hospital Telemetry/Med Surg with PCU unit
  • 32-bed unit with typical staffing of 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter per shift
  • Patient ratios of 4-5:1
  • Uses GE Telemetry monitoring system
  • Charts in Meditech EMR
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • 13-week assignment length
Requirements
  • Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience required
  • Experience caring for post-op CABG patients preferred
  • Meditech EMR experience preferred
  • Experience performing IV starts, foley starts, and chest tube removal
  • No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
  • Outgoing team players who take initiative are best suited for this unit
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
