Travel-RN-ED(782) / 7A-7P/ 13 Weeks

Job Description:

The Emergency Department (ED) is seeking a Travel RN for a 13-week assignment. The unit has 16 beds and 8 hallway chairs, staffed with 6-7 personnel per shift, including a charge nurse, triage nurse, 4-5 nurses, and support staff. The patient ratio is 1:4 for low acuity patients. The facility utilizes cardiac monitors, Baxter IV pumps, and Meditech EMR system.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments, medication administration, and documentation
  • Wound care, splinting, IV insertions, urine collection, and lab draws
  • Care for patients with ESI levels 1 through 5

Requirements:

  • Level II or III trauma experience
  • TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications
  • Compassion, urgency, and teamwork skills are essential
