Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring PCU experience and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details
  • Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital environment
  • Unit has 16 beds with a 4:1 patient ratio
  • Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 PCTs per shift
  • Uses Meditech EMR
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week assignment
  • Floating required to other PCU or telemetry units
  • No on-call requirements
Requirements
  • Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience required
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
  • Provide collaborative, team-based nursing care within a progressive care setting
  • Best suited for candidates with a collaborative, team-player personality
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
