Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Weatherford, Texas

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Step-Down unit setting
  • Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state
  • Minimum of 1 year of PCU, IMC, or Step-Down nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a travel assignment capacity
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • ACLS certification
  • Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Step-Down environment
  • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and intermediate cardiac care
