Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.

Position

Staffing Coordinator, Edmonton

Location and Reporting Structureย 


Reporting to the Superintendent, Staffing, this position will be based in Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilitiesย 

ย  ย Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation, scheduling, workflow tracking, and communication with employees and internal stakeholders.
ย  ย Maintain accurate staffing, onboarding, and employee records within Human Resources, recruitment, and workforce systems, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
ย  ย Administer new hire documentation and staffing records, ensuring required information is complete, accurate, and distributed to Payroll, Travel, Operations, and other stakeholders as required.
ย  ย Support workforce coordination by tracking onboarding status, employee movements, rotations, start dates, and readiness requirements for site deployment.
ย  ย Serve as a central point of contact for onboarding and staffing administration, responding to employee and stakeholder inquiries and supporting timely issue resolution.
ย  ย Identify opportunities to improve onboarding workflows, documentation practices, system use, and staffing administration processes to support efficiency and a positive employee experience.ย 

Desired Competencies andย Requirementsย 

ย  ย One (1) year of administrative experience in a high-volume talent acquisition, legal, or sales environment; experience within the mining or resource sector is considered an asset.
ย  ย Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources, Business or Office Administration, or related field.
ย  ย Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other enterprise Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) / Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is considered an asset.
ย  ย Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage confidential employee information accurately in a fast-paced environment.ย
