Certified Medical Assistant (Float Pool – Houston Methodist) – $19–$24/hr + Full Benefits

Location: Houston Medical Center (additional locations available based on your preferred commute: The Woodlands, Baytown, Clear Lake, Willowbrook, Katy & Sugar Land)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
Pay: $19–$24/hr (based on experience) + Full Benefits

What You’ll Do:
Prepare patients for exams, obtain vitals, and update medical histories
Perform EKGs, wound care, suture removal, and basic lab testing
Administer medications and authorize prescription refills as directed
Provide clear communication and instructions to patients about care plans, medications, and follow-up
Assist with EMR documentation (EPIC preferred)
Ensure exam/treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patient care

What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of recent Medical Assistant experience (externship not included)
Certification REQUIRED: NHA, NAHP, NCCT, ARMA, AAMA, AMCA, AMT, or NREMT
CPR/BLS certification (AHA required)
EPIC experience preferred
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to assigned Methodist locations
Must be tobacco/nicotine-free
