Job description

Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a multidisciplinary team. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture procedural data and support patient care.


What You'll Need:

  • ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from CCI required. WA Department of Health CVIS or RT acceptable as required by facility.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital-based Cath Lab or multimodality interventional lab.
  • Experience with EPIC charting system and common cath lab equipment such as GE imaging, MACLAB, CARTO, Abbott EP, and Pyxis preferred.
  • Radiation badge required prior to start. Facility does not supply or track badge.
  • Ability to meet on-call response expectations. Typical response time is 30 minutes for call coverage.
  • Washington state requirements: must meet state licensure rules for Cath Lab Technologists when applicable.
  • Preferred: prior experience with structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman), complex PCI, Impella and IABP, peripheral vascular interventions, and electrophysiology cases.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift details: Days 0600-1700 (4x10 schedule noted).
  • Orientation hours: 12 hours.
  • Typical cases per day: 25–30.
  • Suite/labs: 6 suites/labs; busy multimodality lab.
  • EMR/Equipment: EPIC, MACLAB, GE imaging, CARTO, Abbott EP, Pyxis.
  • On-call expectations: roughly 1–2 weekday call days per week and approximately 1 weekend per month. Holidays are on-call only.
  • Call response time: approximately 30 minutes.
  • Scrubs: hospital-issued surgical attire provided.
  • Floating: not required unless for emergency response.
