Description of Position

The Corporate Travel operations/technology analyst is responsible for administering corporate travel technology and monitoring our operations to make recommendations to identify opportunities to improve department processes and the business traveler experience.

Job Duties/Essential Functions

  • Troubleshoots air-related errors encountered while using the online booking tool or GDS.
  • Creates and updates Travelport Scripts for reservation agents.
  • Creates and updates Res Rules in Cornerstones IQCX environment.
  • Oversees Corporate Reporting (Cornerstone, Magnatech).
  • Assists with updating travel sites (external corporate travel intranet sites and internal policies and procedures site).
  • Assists meeting team with creating group/meeting registration sites in Swoogo.
  • Oversees Travelport Profiles (templates) and Smartpoint/Google Workspace.
  • Assists with administration of Deem (online booking tool, itinerary management and mobile), air, and hotel rebooking savings tools (TripBam).
  • Assists agents with agent airline website portals, Deem, Smartpoint/Google and meeting registration sites.
  • Supports corporate travel team with problem resolution and automation.
  • Assists in monitoring and working Travelport queues/quality control.
  • Develops and evaluates periodically operational performance reports including contact volumes and individual and enterprise performance.
  • Creates, interprets, and presents graphically-compelling presentations to large groups.
  • Creates and maintains documentation for all reporting processes and procedures.
  • Identifies and escalates member-impacting issues and opportunities for improvement.

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications

Required:

  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter willing to learn and take on unfamiliar projects/programs.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • 3 years’ minimum travel agency or airline experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities and is accountable for actions.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Maintains confidentiality of data, documentation, projects, or other sensitive material.

Recommended:

  • Bachelor’s degree or other advanced degree or professional certification in related field.
  • Knowledge of retail operations: purchasing, merchandising, accounting, and international transportation.
  • Advanced knowledge of technology tools to analyze data, create reports, and manage workflow.
