Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Expense Compliance Analyst, you'll play a pivotal part on our Finance team.
Responsibilities:
The Expense Compliance Analyst is responsible for reviewing and auditing employee expense reports submitted through Concur to ensure full adherence to company travel & expense policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Reporting to the HR organization, this role plays a critical part in safeguarding company resources, promoting policy compliance, and supporting employees through clear, consistent guidance.
  • Review and audit all employee expense reports submitted in Concur for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company T&E policies.
  • Identify policy violations, missing documentation, duplicate submissions, or unusual or unauthorized spending patterns.
  • Communicate directly with employees and managers to resolve discrepancies, request clarifications, or obtain required receipts.
  • Apply consistent judgment when approving, rejecting, or escalating expense items and escalate repeated or significant violations vs. T&E policies to management.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of corporate travel, purchasing, and reimbursement policies, as well as changes in applicable regulations.
  • Partner with Finance, local HR and Procurement to recommend improvements to policy language, workflows, and system controls.
  • Support employee training and awareness initiatives related to expense compliance.
  • Support month end close activities by ensuring timely review and approval of expense reports.
  • Prepare periodic reporting on compliance trends, repeat violations, and opportunities for training or process improvement.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests related to T&E transactions.

Candidate Skills & Requirements:
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient Microsoft Office (including Excel & Word) and Windows operating system.
Other Skills:
  • A candidate must possess excellent analytical skills, as well as, organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail.
  • Problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.
  • Demonstrated experience in data reporting and identifying trends.
  • Ability to participate in and support compliance and policy training initiatives.
