Job description

We are seeking an experienced, English-speaking Glass & Mirror Installation Technician to join our team. This position involves the installation and replacement of glass and mirrors aboard cruise ships worldwide. The role requires extensive international travel, flexible working hours, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install and replace glass, mirrors, and glazing systems aboard cruise ships.
  • Safely use hand and power tools to complete installations.
  • Apply sealants and caulking to a professional standard.
  • Work at heights while adhering to all applicable safety procedures.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying materials.
  • Collaborate with ship personnel and project teams to complete work efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain a professional attitude while working under tight schedules and in varying environments.


Minimum Requirements

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lb (23 kg).
  • Experience applying silicone sealants and caulking.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Valid North American passport with the ability to travel internationally.
  • Ability to work aboard ships for extended periods without suffering from motion sickness.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial glazing, marine glazing, or construction.
