Job description

A Prestige Travel Company is looking for interested people that want to learn the travel industry and become and Independent Contractor Travel Counselor for A Prestige Travel Company.
We are looking for individuals who either have one of the following or all of the following:
  • Minimum of 2 years in retail or phone sales
  • Minimum of 2 years in the travel industry
  • Minimum of associates degree in hospitality or tourism industry

Further qualifications for this position are as follows:
  • GED or high school diploma
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High speed internet (if you have a DSL connection it must be at least 7mbps or higher)
  • Access to a laptop or desktop computer to perform this work
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, internet applications and other computer based software
  • Quiet place in your home to work from so that you can maintain a professional atmosphere
  • We are open 24/7/365 but you are not required to work this amount of time, you schedule your own hours - we love night owls a lot!
  • Must have knowledge of geographical areas all over the world
  • Must be able to attend a training session which may last up to 2 days (non paid)

There is no charge or fee to attend the training session to see if you would like to become a travel counselor. However, there is a monthly fee ranging from $36.00-$61.50 depending on the software package that you choose, no money is due up front but is due by the 5th of the month the following month.
Commission is paid after we receive payment for the travel itinerary booked or customer completes payment on their account for our fees. The commission split is 50/50. Commission split had no limit - the more you suggest and sell to the Client the more you make.
