Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed SLP, or eligibility for licensure in Illinois
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Skill and enthusiasm for working with ages 5-21 in a special needs environment
  • Understanding of autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, intellectual and other health impairments

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and classroom observations
  • Compose thorough and timely reports for students with a range of abilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized programs
  • Maintain detailed records and participate in IEP processes

Schedule & Details:

  • Assignment runs from ASAP through June 28, 2027, including the summer term
  • School Year Hours: 8:00AM – 4:00PM, Monday through Friday
  • Summer/June Hours: 7:45AM – 2:15PM, Monday through Friday
