Hourly Non-Medical Caregiver

Location: Sharon, CT

Job Summary:

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking an experienced and compassionate Hourly Non-Medical Caregiver to provide exceptional care to our clients in their own homes. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing daily routine care, household tasks, and assisting with transportation and medication reminders. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding

  • Responsible for house maintenance when applicable

  • Answers phone calls for clients when necessary

  • Converses with patients to provide assurance

  • Observes Universal Precautions

  • Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping

  • Provides patient laundry and linen changes

  • Light housekeeping

  • Provides medication reminders

  • Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Caregiver required

  • State CNA certification / CHHA certification preferred but not required

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Must have Cell Phone / Tablet

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a caregiving role

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • State CNA certification / CHHA certification preferred but not required
