Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers to provide non-medical support and companionship to clients in their homes. As an in-home caregiver, you will help individuals maintain their independence and dignity by assisting with daily activities, offering companionship, and creating a safe, comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as:

    • Light housekeeping

    • Meal preparation and feeding assistance

    • Laundry and linen changes

    • Medication reminders (no administering)

  • Provide companionship through conversation, activities, and emotional support

  • Assist with mobility and transfers (from bed, chair, etc.)

  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings (if applicable)

  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to supervisor

  • Maintain client confidentiality and respect their home and lifestyle

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous caregiving experience (professional or personal) is a plus

  • Reliable transportation and valid driverโ€™s license (if travel is required)

  • Must pass background check and drug screening

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

  • Ability to lift, move, or assist clients safely
