• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to explore patients’ trauma histories and effectively identify appropriate therapeutic approaches.
• Develop and individualize treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methods aimed at trauma recovery, ensuring each client’s unique needs are met.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), enhancing client coping strategies.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients in processing their trauma and fostering resilience.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care to clients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, skillfully managing high-stress situations as they arise.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available coping resources, empowering them in their recovery process.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to enhance service delivery and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy, incorporating new findings into your practice.

The primary focus of this role is to assist individuals who have faced significant trauma. Our clients may be struggling with mental health challenges stemming from PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders. The nature of our care centers on understanding each client’s unique experiences, providing tailored therapy that promotes healing and resilience.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
• Ability to maintain composure and act calmly in stressful scenarios.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.
• A collaborative mindset, ideally suited to working within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Additional certifications or training in trauma-informed care, EMDR, TF-CBT, or similar modalities are highly preferred.
• Experience in developing group therapy programs that tackle trauma recovery can differentiate candidates.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
