Job Title: Recruiter

Location: Irving, TX or San Antonio, TX

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite

Type of Employment: Contract-to-Hire

Compensation: $36–$38/hour

Industry: Construction Equipment / Industrial Services

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Recruiter to support high-volume hiring efforts across multiple locations throughout Texas. This position will focus primarily on skilled trades and technician recruiting within industrial and blue-collar environments. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing a fast-paced workload while partnering closely with hiring leaders and HR teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for a high volume of open positions, primarily focused on technician and skilled labor roles

• Source qualified candidates using job boards, recruiting platforms, networking, and other talent acquisition tools

• Review resumes, conduct candidate screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers

• Maintain consistent communication with applicants throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience

• Partner with internal leadership and HR teams to understand hiring priorities and staffing needs

• Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate information within the applicant tracking system

• Prioritize multiple openings simultaneously while meeting hiring timelines and business demands

• Support recruiting efforts across various locations throughout Texas

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of recruiting experience in high-volume environments such as construction, manufacturing, industrial, transportation, or skilled trades

• Previous experience recruiting heavy equipment technicians or similar field-based positions preferred

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and cross-functional teams

• Bilingual Spanish language skills are a plus
