Job Description
  • Effectively lead and manage activities and people in all phases of transportation civil engineering projects as well as manage project budgets, schedules, and client needs.
  • Assure that designs, plans and specifications are in accordance with federal, state and local standards.
  • Prepare and oversee detailed engineering analyses, design, technical reports, etc.
  • Create and foster a project team culture of superior service for the client.
  • Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and the general public as necessary through project completion. In addition, work on business development activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering field.
  • Professional Engineer license in the applicable state you work or the ability to obtain license within 6 months.
  • 8+ years of experience in the design and construction of state MnDOT and MN CSAH highway projects preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of project team roles and responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with groups both internally and externally.
