Job description

Position Summary
This position supports the day to day operations of the terminal by performing a variety of office tasks.
Essential Functions
  • Organize and sort incoming mail and paperwork
  • Verify driver paperwork for each load
  • Enter information into customer systems as necessary
  • Answer phone calls to the terminal and address questions or concerns
  • Respond to customer billing and load status questions
  • Enter drivers paperwork daily into spreadsheet for billing
  • Generate invoices for customers
  • Scan invoices to customers for payment
  • Generate daily reports for customers
  • Load counts for customers
  • Send reports to customers weekly along with backup documents
  • Enter and send payroll weekly
  • Keep track of vacation for employees
  • Print out logs for drivers that need updated and return to corporate
  • Schedule appointments for drivers (physicals, drug tests & renewals)
  • Applications
  • Answer daily emails
  • Help shop with vendor invoices and emails
  • Check and order uniforms weekly
  • Filing, copy, and scanning documents
  • Expense reports and Per Diem
  • Manage office when Terminal Manager is out
  • Any other duties assigned

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of transportation experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
