Job description

  • Role and Responsibilities

    Candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability, enthusiasm, knowledge, skills and competency for the general operations of the business and possess an attitude that embodies our core values:ย  Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.

    • Disassemble and clean Allison automatic transmissions.
    • Communicate directly with Shop Foreman regarding daily schedule.
    • Maintain a tidy well organized shop work area.
    • Ensure that repair and replace process promotes safety and is in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards.ย 

    Utilize and maintain required personal protective equipment as required for position and individual tasks.ย  Examples include: safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, etc.ย 

  • Qualifications ย 

    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • 1-3 years prior experience in heavy equipment repair is a plus but not required.ย 
    • Must have or be willing to complete formal Allison training.ย 
  • Preferred Skills

    • Must be a strong team player with a personal commitment toward the business and its customers.
    • Should be able lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
    • Must be able to handle stress caused in meeting deadlines and have the ability to shift priorities easily.
