JOB SUMMARY
This full-time position, at-will position supports the effective delivery of housing assistance programs through a range or programmatic and operational responsibilities. The role serves as a key point of coordination for clients and collaborates closely with program staff to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with program requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  1. Serve as primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers seeking housing program information and assistance.
  2. Support housing programs by coordinating day-to-day program activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  3. Manage the intake process for the Weatherization Program, including screening applicants for eligibility, collecting required information, ensuring timely process and uploading information in the Client Management System.
  4. Conduct community outreach to recruit eligible applicants, promote program awareness, and build relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  5. Review, maintain, and update client files to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  6. Ensure client records are current and properly documented in accordance with confidentiality and record-retention standards.
  7. Community program guidelines, eligibility criteria, and next steps clearly and professionally to all clients.
  8. Collaborate with program staff to support program goals.
  9. May provide services and support across multiple programs and/or projects, adapting to organizational priorities while maintaining the core functions as described.
  10. Other duties may be assigned and/or requested from time to time in fulfillment of the agency's mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is responsible for managing the intake process for the Weatherization program, including client eligibility screening, application processing, and ongoing documentation tracking. The role ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of program records while supporting compliance with program guidelines. Responsibilities also include coordinating with program staff to facilitate efficient workflows, assisting clients throughout the intake process, and maintaining organized data to support reporting, monitoring, and overall program effectiveness.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in data entry, Microsoft office and other tracking systems.
  • Bilingual capabilities a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
  • Attention to detail and organized.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbally and in writing).
  • Comfortable with public speaking.

DIFFICULTY OF WORK
This role requires a high level of accuracy and organizational skills to manage complex intake processes and ensure compliance within program guidelines and regulatory requirements. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
  • Successful candidate must submit to a pre-employment drug screening, limited criminal history check, driver check and National Sex Offender Registry check, SAM and OIG exclusion screenings. Must pass and maintain compliance with the agency's background check policy.
  • Proof of educational credentials is required at employment.
  • Valid driver's license and a dependable vehicle required.
  • Must meet the Agency's required car insurance coverage level at employment and maintain it throughout the duration of employment (Liability Coverage: $100,000/$300,000/$100,000).
