Job description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Knowledge Transfer Project Manager to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate KT sessions; prepare agendas and collect required materials in coordination with Task Area Leads and SMEs.
  • Document session outcomes, capture process details, system information, decisions, and operational insights; maintain session notes and artifacts in the KT repository.
  • Support post-transition PMO activities by ensuring documentation completeness, organizing handoff materials, and providing ongoing coordination for assigned projects.
  • Track progress against transition plans and the master schedule; identify variances and escalate/coordinate mitigation with Task Area Leads.
  • Maintain and update KT repository content, version control, and access permissions per governance policies.
  • Produce routine status updates for program leadership and coordinate logistics to reduce administrative burden on Task Area Leads.
  • Validate completeness of artifacts required for operational acceptance and support final transition acceptance activities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
  • Education / Certification: Candidate must meet ONE:
    • Bachelor's degree (BS) in relevant field; OR
    • PMP certification.
  • Experience: Experience in project coordination, transition support, knowledge management, or PMO functions-preferably with DoD or government contract transitions.
  • Skills: Strong meeting facilitation, technical documentation, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, repository management (SharePoint/Confluence), and written communication skills.

Desired / Preferred

  • Prior DoD/Army/ARNG transition or PMO experience
  • Familiarity with RMF artifacts, operational procedures, and classified content handling
  • Experience with master schedule tracking tools and metrics reporting

Target Salary Range$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
