Job Summary

Granicus is looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented Analyst to support AI transformation and strategic operations work across the company. This role will sit within Corporate Strategy & Transformation and work closely with the Director of AI Transformation & Strategic Operations, the Director of Strategic Programs, the Director of Transformation, and the internal AI Engineering team. 

The analyst will help identify opportunities, structure analyses, support execution, and track impact across functions. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn how a software company drives change, build strong problem-solving instincts, and contribute directly to meaningful operational improvements. 

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, strategic finance, or another rigorous analytical environment and wants to apply that toolkit inside an operating company. 

What Your Impact Will Look Like

Responsibilities 

  • Support cross-functional AI transformation workstreams from problem definition through implementation 
  • Build analyses, models, and executive-ready materials to support opportunity sizing, prioritization, and value tracking 
  • Help map current-state workflows, identify bottlenecks, and document future-state processes 
  • Partner with teams across Sales, Customer Success, Support, Operations, Finance, IT, and Product to gather inputs and drive execution 
  • Support pilots of AI-enabled workflows, copilots, and process changes 
  • Maintain project trackers, action-item logs, meeting notes, and follow-up across multiple initiatives 
  • Help define KPIs and track impact such as time saved, cycle-time reduction, productivity gains, and cost reduction 
  • Prepare polished PowerPoint materials and supporting analysis for leadership reviews 
  • Conduct internal, customer, and market research to inform recommendations 
  • Support program coordination and workstream management across concurrent transformation initiatives 
  • Help develop reusable templates, playbooks, and documentation to improve execution discipline

Experience 

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, strategic finance, or a similarly analytical role 
  • Strong financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills 
  • Strong structured problem-solving skills and comfort working in ambiguity 
  • Ability to turn analysis into a clear recommendation and execute against it 
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Comfortable working across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment 
  • Interest in AI, automation, operating model design, and business process improvement 
  • SaaS or enterprise software experience preferred 
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders or cross-functional teams preferred
