What is a transcriber?
A transcriber converts speeches or recordings into text documents. Transcribers often work in the legal, business, or medical field. Transcription services can be done by an individual or a company. Transcribers have a wide range of situations and opportunities to put their skills to use, including transcribing for journalists conducting interviews, listening to and writing down oral stories for a memoir, recording presentations at conferences and panels, podcasts, and teleseminars.
